Going round and round is the central principle and action of Mary Wagner's drawing practice. Her drawings are simple, curvilinear paths arching about some absent center. Rigorous lines warm and complicate through repetition. Intricate patterns pile on top of each other taking on form and depth. Mary's drawings are exercises in minimal purity, expressions of chaos and order, complicated networks and psychedelic dreamscapes.
